Room Ten Cafe

Room Ten: Where Coffee Meets Cool in a Trendy Potts Point Alleyway

Nestled in a trendy Potts Point back alley, Room Ten captures the essence of the Melbourne laneway espresso bar. Think excellent coffee, unpretentious cool, and a location that's impossibly chic.

This tiny cafe buzzes with activity, with a mix of locals and visitors flowing through.  You'll see artistic tattoos and ironic haircuts mingling with the area's most Instagram-worthy pups. Regulars are greeted by name, their coffee preferences already known – a testament to the warm, familiar atmosphere.

Despite the limited space, Room Ten is resourceful. Their shoebox kitchen churns out creative breakfast dishes like muesli with stewed rhubarb and "Room 10 Breakfast Rice" with red rice and fresh fruit.  The ever-changing mural by local designers adds a vibrant touch.

There's a strong sense of community at Room Ten. Smile at the barista, and you might just score a text when your favorite roast arrives or an extra scoop of ice cream in your affogato. It's this friendly, personalised service that makes Room Ten a true gem.

Located less than 200 metres away from Potts Point Central Hotel, we highly recommend paying Room Ten a visit during your Sydney stay.
